Background Information
The Ambassadors Charity Trust (ACT) originated in 2011 from a conviction to address widening inequalities and give hope to marginalized populations. The founder, Mr. Blessings Chiwosi, envisioned an organization that would practically demonstrate compassion and development work inspired by values of service and dignity. Originally known as Ambassadors of God, the organization focused on charity work driven by young volunteers, particularly students at Chancellor College. Recognizing the need for broader inclusivity and partnerships especially with secular institutions the organization rebranded to Ambassadors Charity Trust (ACT) in 2021. This transition allowed ACT to expand its reach, minimize religious stigmatization, and strengthen its professional development identity while still operating with its foundational values of integrity, compassion, and servant leadership.Since establishment, ACT has grown into a multi-regional organization with members and beneficiaries across Malawi’s central, southern, and northern regions
